Abstract

The Minister responsible for trade or any other public officer authorized by him may register "any person or body of persons" to be importers of sugar under article 3. The duration of the authorization shall be specified in the registration. No person shall import or sell sugar unless registered as a registered importer. The importer shall declare, immediately after importation, the amount of sugar imported together with the value, the unit price, and name and address of the supplier. Imports of sugar for domestic and industrial are specified in the Schedule.
