This Regulation enters into force on 14 March 2019.
Abstract

This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 26 articles divided into seven Chapters and completed by three Appendices, establishes the Requirements and Procedures for the Issuance of Certificates for Good Fish Product Management. The scope of this Ministerial Regulation includes: a) Quality Control requirements for fishing activities; b) Certificate of Good Fish Handling Services; c) Monitoring, evaluation and surveillance; and d) Guidance and reporting. It specifies guidelines and procedures for handling fish products, including vessel transhipment requirements and landing in order to meet the food quality and safety requirements. The Regulation is divided as follows: General Provisions (Chap. I); Requirements for Quality Control in Fishing Activities (Chap. II); Certificate Service How to Perform Good Fishing (Chap. III); Monitoring, Evaluation, and Surveillance (Chap. IV); Guidance and Reporting (Chap. V); Transitional Provisions (Chap. VI); Final Provisions (Chap. VII).
