This Regulation enters into force on 6 May 2019.
Abstract

This Government Regulation, consisting of 125 articles divided into eight Chapters, establishes the Marine Spatial Planning. This Regulation deals with: sea as a water space on earth that connects land to land and other natural forms, which is a geographical and ecological unit with all relevant elements, and whose boundaries and systems are determined by laws and regulations and international law, including the seabed and the land beneath, the water column and the surface of the Sea, including coastal areas and small islands. The scope of this Regulation aims at planning the Sea Spatial Water Areas and Jurisdictional Areas. Water Areas as referred to in paragraph (1) include: inland water in the form of inland sea; archipelago waters; and Territorial sea. The jurisdiction territory as referred to in paragraph (1) includes: a) additional zone; b) Exclusive Economic Zone; and c) Continental Shelf. Sea Spatial Planning in the Waters and Jurisdiction Region as referred to in paragraph (1) is realized in the RTRL. Marine Spatial Planning in Water Areas includes: a. policies and strategies for spatial planning of marine territorial waters; b. Water Area Ocean Structure plan; c. Water Area Sea Space Pattern plan; and d. the stipulation of a Public Use Zone that has national strategic value.
