Abstract This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 28 articles divided into eleven Chapters, regulates the Registration and Marking of Fishing Vessels. In the framework of fishing vessel registration activities, the Minister grants authority to the following: a) Director General to register Indonesian-flagged fishing vessels operated in WPP-NRI or high seas with sizes above 30 gross tonnage (GT); b) Governor to register Indonesian-flagged fishing vessels operated in WPP-NRI with sizes above 10 GT up to 30 GT domiciled in the administrative area and operating in the fisheries management area under their authority; c) Regent/Mayor to register Indonesian-flagged fishing vessels operated in WPP-NRI with a size up to 10 GT domiciled in the administrative area and operating in the waters of the province where the regency is domiciled.
