Abstract This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 54 articles divided into six Chapters and completed by two Appendices, establishes the Control of Fish Disease. The purpose of controlling Fish Disease is to prevent the entry, spread and occurrence of fish disease in the aquaculture environment. Fish disease control includes: a) Surveillance and Monitoring; b) Risk analysis; c) Handling fish diseases; and d) Emergency response. The Regulation is divided as follows: General Provisions (Chap. I); Surveillance and Monitoring (Chap. II); Risk Analysis (Chap. III); Handling of Fish Diseases (Chap. IV); Emergency Response (Chap. V); Final Provisions (Chap. VI).
