This Regulation entered into force on 25 March and is valid until 31 December 2020.
Abstract

The present Regulation contains provisions and general recommendations in support of effective infection prevention and protection of individuals in food-serving businesses. Its main objective is to prevent the spread of covid-19. Covered businesses include restaurants, bars, cafes, school dining rooms, and catering activities. These businesses shall, among others, have routines to prevent the spread of covid-19; carry out regular risk assessments on the basis of recommendations from the Public Health Agency; and develop instructions for how the staff can prevent the spread of infection. Businesses shall also ensure that there are no long queues in their premises, and that visitors are able to keep distance between each other.
