Abstract

This Ministerial Regulation amends the Regulation of Minister of Trade no. 18 of 2021 concerning goods whose import or export is prohibited and therefore provides for some modifications on the lists of prohibited goods, as specified in the attached schedules. The Regulation defines: types of sugar whose import is prohibited, including raw sugar, refined sugar, plantation white sugar; types of rice whose import is prohibited; ozone depleting substances, including: halogenated derivatives of hydrocarbon, mixtures containing methane, ethane or propane; used plastic bags, sacks and clothes; goods using refrigeration systems based on chlorofluorocarbon and hydrofluorocarbon, including refrigerators, freezers and other refrigerating or freezing equipment, heat pumps other than air conditioning machines, containers for transporting of liquid goods; types of medicines and food additives; hazardous and toxic materials, including: insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, herbicides, anti-sprouting products and plant growth regulators, disinfectants and other chemical products, put up in forms or packings for retail sale or as preparations or articles; types of hazardous and toxic waste, including ash and residues containing arsenic and other dangerous metals, residues from burning household waste, petroleum oils, sewage deposit, electronic waste; hand tools used in agriculture; medical devices containing mercury.
