The Regulation defines free trade zone; prohibition from exporting goods of the following sectors: agriculture, including fertilisers; forestry, including wood types and species of trees; mining, waste, cultural heritage; prohibition from importing goods of the following sectors: food and nutrition, particularly sugar, rice; hazardous and toxic waste; non hazardous and toxic waste; medical devices containing mercury; hand tools in finished form; ozone depleting substances; used plastic bags, sacks and clothes; goods using refrigeration systems based on chlorofluorocarbon and hydrofluorocarbon. The Regulation defines conditions for re-import of prohibited goods, and for the return of exported goods, outside the customs area and the special economic zones, and provides for sanctions in accordance with the provisions of the legislation, in case of violation of its provisions. The attached schedules detail the various goods whose export or import is prohibited for each specific sector.
