This Regulation enters into force on 5 January 2007.
Abstract

This Regulation, consisting of 10 articles divided into six Chapters, establishes a guidance for the implementation of monitoring on residual use of fish drugs, chemicals, biological materials, and contaminants used in fish farming. The purpose of this Regulation is to provide quality standards and safety for fish products and avoid the danger of drug residues, chemicals, biological materials, and contaminants in fish so that is safe for human consumption. The monitoring activities of the hatchery shall be carried out periodically on the use of drugs, chemicals, and biological materials in the seed production process including water quality analysis in the process of hatchery and the use of fish feed. Monitoring activities on fish enlargement shall be made periodically using the same analyssi and indicators as above. Chapter IV specifies Monitoring Procedures (including fish and water sampling).
