This Ministerial Regulation shall come into force on 23 January 2013.
Abstract

This Regulation amends several provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries No. PER.30/MEN/2012 on the Industrial Fishing Capture within the Fisheries Management Region of the Republic of Indonesia (State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia of 2013 No. 81). Amendments deal administrative and legal proceedings of the above mentioned Regulation and in particular with the following issues: capture of industrial fishing using fishing vessels and/or fishing boats with a cumulative number of 300 GT and above can only be performed by a legal fishing company. Fishing vessels owned by the Government, regional government, or universities to conduct training or research/exploration, must submit an application for SIPI to the Director General, with specific requirements. The Regulation contains other measures on fishing resources conservation and management.
