This Regulation enters into force on 31 January 2014.
Abstract

This Regulation amends Regulation of the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Number PER.02/MEN/2011 on the Fishing Lanes and Placement of Fishing Tools and Fishing Aids Fish in the Fisheries Management Region of the Republic of Indonesia. Amendments deal with the administrative and legal proceedings. In particular, it establishes that the use of fishing tools and fishing aids in the fishing lanes in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia fisheries management as stipulated in the above mentioned Regulation has not been fully able to meet the development needs in the field in the optimal and sustainable use of fish resources. Amendments specifies new fishing methods and tools, mesh sizes, terms and conditions to perform fishing activity, etc.
