This Ministerial Regulation comes into force on October 9, 2020.
Abstract

This Ministerial Regulation, consisting of 51 articles and based on the provision of article 28, paragraph 4 of the Act no. 27 of 2007 regarding the management of coastal area and isles, aims at protecting, preserving and using fish resources, biodiversity and cultural traditional sites through the conservation area management. According to the Regulation, the conservation area is defined as an unified ecosystem, protected, conserved and utilised in a sustainable way. The following relevant terms are defined: sea; coastal area; coastal waters; small islands; ecosystem; zoning of conservation area; dumping; allowed and disallowed activities; customary law community; central and regional governments.
