Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of Section 61 (1), subsections 3-5 of the Fishing Act, establishes requirements for weighing landed fish, caught at sea during commercial fishing by fishing vessel provided with specific fishing gears and nets, with box and trawl traps, or with a bottom seine. The Regulation concerns: weighing of fish and identification of responsible persons, including the owner of fishing permit; deduction of water and ice during weighing operations; weighing of fish before its processing, handing over, storage, transportation; special exempts and specific requirements for partial weighing of fish, and for weighing in a fish processing company; submission of weighing data.
