Abstract

The Regulation, which consists of 15 articles, enforces the Law on Preventing the Fragmentation of Agricultural Lands and Creating Appropriate Pieces Due to Technical and Economic Matters. In particular, separation and partition of the farmland to the pieces smaller than determined technical and economical quorum is prohibited. The fragmentation of the national and public lands transferred for agricultural purpose is prohibited even after transfer. In order to encourage owners of farmlands to integrate their lands to reach the determined quorum, the Agriculture Ministry is responsible to provide them with new agricultural machineries, develop water and soil infrastructure as well as provide financial facilities and incentives.
