This Regulation enters into force on 28 May 2013.
Abstract

This Regulation, consisting of 10 Chapters and 1 Attachment, regulates Importation Control of Drug and Food into the Territory of Indonesia. It defines Drug and Food as: drug, traditional medicine, quasi medicine, cosmetics, health supplement, and processed food. Drug and food that can be imported into the territory of Indonesia for circulation is food and drug that has obtained circulation permit. These products, in addition to obtaining circulation permit as intended in paragraph (1), also have to fulfill the provisions of the regulating legislation on import. It also concerns biological product which are vaccine, antibody, antigen, hormone, enzyme, blood product and other fermentation products utilized to affect/inspect physiological system or pathological condition in order to prevent, treat, recover and improve health (specified in Attachment II). The Attachments list a model form containing: Name of Importer; Office Address; Exporter Name; Exporter Country of Origin and other information.
