This Regulation enters into force on the date of its publication.
Abstract

This Regulation is composed of 15 articles. The Fund shall guarantee the total or partial financing for carrying out the development programmes aiming at the following: (a) to carry out scientific research; (b) protecting and developing agricultural, animal and fish resources; (c) to adopt technologies and executing guidance and counselling programmes and projects; (d) to develop studies and programmes; and, (e) to carry out studies on the economic advantages of the investment and developmental projects (art. 2). Article 3 provides for the creation of the Fund Board presided by the Minister of Agriculture and Fish Resources and other 8 members of the competent and concerned Authorities. Article 4 deals with the following objectives of the Board: (a) to lay down the general policy and financial and administrative organization of the Fund as well as defines requirements and conditions for financing and adoption of contracts and application forms; (d) to manage the Fund properties and incomes; (e) to approve the annual budget of the Fund; (e) to adopt the development programmes; (f) to carry out periodic revision of the Fund’s incomes; (g) to study agreements with the Government, companies, consultants, international and regional agencies; (h) to define the publication and copyrights as well as the intellectual property rights; and, (i) to adopt the annual report related to the activity of the Fund. Article 8 deals with Fund’s incomes. The incomes and capitals of the Fund are considered a public property (art. 14).
