This Regulation entered into force on 1 October 1996.
Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to strengthen the administration on water supply, protect the legitimate rights and interests of water suppliers and water users, secure the water supply for everyday life, production activities and other needs, and help develop water supply capacity. The text consists of 49 Articles divided into 7 Chapters: General provisions; Water source administration; Construction of water supply projects; Protection of water supply facilities; Administration of water supply and water use; Legal liabilities; and Supplementary provisions.
