Abstract

The Regulation sets provisions for cleaning of cities and management of urban green spaces. The Regulation consists of 27 articles, divided into 5 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Cleaning of Cities (II); Green Spaces (III); Punishments (IV); Final Provisions (V). Municipalities, with the cooperation of other departments, are authorities responsible to implement provisions of this Regulation. Main responsibilities of municipalities regarding the cleaning of cities include: to collect, transfer, and disposal of urban waste; to instantly clean cities and habitat areas. Municipalities should create, restore, maintain, and develop green spaces in cities based on national master plans. The Regulation determines punishments for the destruction of green spaces and causing damages to the natural environment.
