Abstract

This Regulation is the main guiding instruction as regards cooperation between State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision and Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and their territorial branches in the field of ensuring supervision over food safety and safety of the foodstuffs of animal origin, inspection thereof and the protection of animal and human health. The Regulation consists of 6 Sections. Section 1 lays down the basic principles of cooperation. Section 2 traces the main directions of cooperation. Section 3 determines the sphere of competence of the organizations attached to State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision. Section 4 classifies the organs of veterinary supervision. Section 5 classifies the organs of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision and of State Veterinary Supervision. Section 6 determines the sphere of competence of State sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision and of Chief Veterinary Department of the Ministry of Agriculture.
