Abstract

The Regulation sets provisions to improve agriculture mechanized services and training on how to use agricultural machineries and to introduce agrotechnical standards. The Regulation consists of 11 articles, divided into 3 Chapters: General Provisions (I); Duties (II); Miscellaneous Provisions (III). The main objectives of this Regulation include: to increase the quality and quantity of agricultural products through use of new technologies; to improve the capability of cooperatives and farmers to use agricultural mechanized services; to set agrotechnical standards for use of agricultural machineries; to promote better methods for use of agricultural machineries to increase cultivation per unit of land; to achieve agricultural development. The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock is the authority responsible to implement the objectives of this Regulation and to allocate the necessary budget. In each province of the country, agricultural mechanized stations, by providing agricultural mechanized services, assists farmers in various stages, such as preparing the agricultural land, cultivation, harvest, process of agricultural products, and soil improvement.
