Abstract

The labelling referring to organic production methods or ecological methods (hereinafter ecolabel) displays a circle with the word "ÖKO" inside the circle written in font type Caliban Regular. In the word "ÖKO", two arrow shape leaves are attached to the longer leg of letter "K". The leaves symbolise a vigorous plant emerging from pure nature. The size of the smaller leaf is fifty per cent of the size of the larger leaf. The circle may be surrounded by a phrase »KONTROLLITUD ÖKOLOOGILISEST PÕLLUMAJANDUSEST» [inspected product, produced by organic farming methods]. The green colour of the ecolabel shall be 355 C; CMYK C 100.0; M 0.0; Y:91.0; K:6.0 according to the 5963 Pantone Process Catalogue. Ecolabel may be used for the labelling of feedingstuffs, agricultural produce and products which are in conformity with the requirements of subsection 22 (1) of the Organic Agriculture Act. An ecolabel used on a package shall be presented sufficiently clearly.
