Abstract This Regulation lays down the criteria used for determining when scraps of iron, steel and aluminum are no longer considered waste. The Regulation fully transposes into national law the Council of Europe Regulation No.333/2011. Rules dealing with the conformity declarations, and the allowed percentages of organic polluters and dangerous substances in waste are laid down in separate annexes attached to the Regulation.
