Abstract

This Regulation provides for the establishment and licensing of olive oil presses in accordance with Article 16 of the Agricultural Law No. 44 of 2002. It is composed of 14 articles. Article 2 deals with terms and definitions . Article 3 states that the minister will form a committee of licensing and operating olive oil presses headed by the Ministry of Agriculture. This committee will be concerned with receiving licensing requests, adding new lines, transferring presses to different locations and other related issues. Articles 4 and 5 provide for the conditions and the procedures of licensing as well as the documents needed for it. Any violation to the provisions of this Regulation will be penalized according to article 16 of the Agricultural Law No. 44 f 2002.
