Amendments concern: article 6 (b) of the main Regulations on groundwater conservation, in order to manage and conserve the groundwater encompassed in each island; article 18 (a) and (b) on rating of all the devices utilised in the groundwater extraction, keeping and sharing information: on the effects of groundwater extraction; on the number and usage of wells; on size of land and type of water (well water, rainwater, public or private water) used in areas of farming or any type of industrial projects carried out in uninhabited islands; on volume of water, if using boreholes for extraction; on water quality report; article 25 (a) regarding reporting damages to groundwater and finding solutions.
