Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to facilitate commitments to environmental issues. The subsidy will encourage environmental activities locally, regionally and nationally. Subsidy shall be granted to institutions, foundations and NGOs. Allocation of grants shall be split in two; one as 70% of the total allocated subsidy and one of 30% to societies. Ratio calculation shall be scored in a point-system (article 7). Granted subsidy under 500 000 NOK shall be paid on a semi-annual basis, and between NOK 500 000 and NOK 3 500 000 on a quartely basis.
