Abstract

This Regulation establishes the list of plants, plant products and other objects which may be conveyed from third countries to Estonia pursuant to the simplified procedure, the quantities in which their transport is permitted, and the simplified procedure for transport thereof from third countries to Estonia. The following may be conveyed to Estonia pursuant to the simplified procedure without a phytosanitary certificate and for other than marketing purposes: plants, plant products and other objects intended for personal consumption imported as a part of travellers’ personal luggage; seed and vegetative propagating material in the quantities designated by the registrar of the state Plant Varieties Register in order to conduct the official trials provided for in the Plant Propagation and Plant Variety Rights Act; and plants, plant products and other objects intended for personal consumption of the diplomatic staff and administrative staff of foreign diplomatic representations in Estonia, consular posts, special missions, representations of international organisations in Estonia and their family members.
