Abstract

This Regulation provides for a list of measurements and calculation methods used to assess the presence of a fragrance; the procedure for assessment of the presence of a fragrance; the requirements for the assessment of the presence of fragrances; and the levels of interference with the presence of fragrances in accordance with the assessment methods and the procedure for application thereof. The Regulation consists of eight sections: Scope of regulation (1); Methods used to assess the presence of odoriferous substances (2); Calculation of instantaneous emissions of fragrances (3); Procedure for assessment of presence of fragrance (4); Requirements for assessment of presence of fragrance (5); Interference levels of fragrance in accordance with reference methods for assessment of presence of fragrance and procedure for application thereof (6); Evaluation of results of evaluation of presence of fragrance (7); and Entry into force of regulation (8).
