Abstract

This Regulation establishes requirements for the keeping of pigs and the premises or structures provided for that purpose; and the list of authorized veterinary procedures and the persons performing them and the requirements for the performance of these procedures and the preparation of the person performing these procedures. The Regulation consists of seven chapters: General provisions (1); Requirements for keeping pigs (2); Requirements for the keeping of boars, young swine and sows and piglets (3); Requirements for a pig housing or building (4); Requirements for the feeding of pigs (5); List of persons authorized to apply veterinary procedures to pigs and the persons performing them and the requirements for the conduct of these procedures and the training of the person performing these procedures (6); and Implementing provision (7).
