County and district environmental authorities participate in the preparation and creation of the program of the Slovak Republic. They elaborate the necessary documentation within their respective jurisdictions for the purpose. Programs of county and district environmental authorities shall consist of the following parts: a) name and site of the authority issuing the program and principal data on the ecology and economic characteristics of the program territory; b) recent status of waste management, specifying the amount of waste produced in the preceding period, and a review of equipment used for waste disposal; c) waste management budget in the preceding period, specifying the waste management costs and sources of coverage; d) objectives of the waste management and measure to realize them, including implementation deadlines of such measures and costs thereof. Programs of county and district environmental authorities shall be formulated in the form of schedules as shown in Annex 1 of this Regulation and shall contain at least the scope of data presented by this Annex.
