Abstract

This Regulation establishes requirements for the keeping of pets, including dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits, ferrets, caged birds, reptiles, amphibians, aquarium fish and invertebrates, including requirements for a room or building intended for keeping them. This Regulation is binding on all natural and legal persons who own or possess a pet animal. It consists of eleven chapters: General provisions (1); Requirements for a pet housing or building (2); Requirements for the holding of pets (3); Requirements for keeping a dog (4); Cat keeping requirements (5); Requirements for storage of rodents and rabbits (6); Requirements for the holding of cured ferry (7); Requirements for keeping cage birds (8); Requirements for reptiles and amphibians (9); Requirements for the holding of aquarium fish (10); Requirements for keeping invertebrates (11); and Entry into force (12).
