Abstract

The Regulation, established on the basis of paragraphs 161 (12) and 164 (8) of the Water Act, lays down the calculated values for the nutrient content of different types of manure and animal excrement, the conversion factors for livestock into livestock units and the methodology for calculating the manure storage capacity. It consists of four sections: Scope of application (1); Calculated values of nutrient content of different types of manure and animal manure (2); Coefficients for conversion of farm animals into livestock units (3); and Methodology for calculation of manure storage volume (4).
