Abstract The purpose of this Regulation is to monitor and identify bycatch from coastal fishing of sardines and bans coastal fishing thereof with lights between January and February. Fishing and landing thereof shall be registered and notified to the Fisheries Directorate. For coastal sprat fishing during conservation season, Regulation No. 3 of 13 November 1961 shall apply.
