It consists of 8 chapters: (1) General provisions; (2) Authorization; (3) Supervision and control; (4) Production and storage of medicated feed; (5) Packaging and labelling; (6) Sale and distribution; (7) Import of medicated feed; and (8) Miscellaneous provisions. All businesses that engage in any of the activities covered by the regulation shall have an authorization from the Norwegian Medicines Agency. Articles 3-3 and 3-4 set out specific record-keeping and reporting obligations for producers and distributors of medicated feed. Articles 5-1 and 5-2 lay down additional packaging and labelling requirements for medicated feed, complementing existing feed legislation.
