Abstract

This Regulation provides for genetically modified organisms (GMOs) into the environment of the permit (the permit), or containing GMOs or consisting of the product (the product) for marketing the applicant, authorization or marketing the holder of the Ministry of Environment of the information requirements for the content, if has become aware of the new data GMO the risk of release to the environment or marketing of the product. The regulation also lays down requirements for the content of information to be disclosed in the event of a known threat. The Regulation consists of five sections: Scope of regulation (1); Information to be forwarded to Ministry of the Environment upon occurrence of danger related to release of GMO before or after issue of release permit (2); Information to be disclosed in case of danger arising upon release of GMOs into the environment (3); Information to be provided in case of danger occurring before or after the marketing authorization of the product is granted (4); and Information to be disclosed in case of danger occurring during marketing of product (5).
