Abstract

The purpose of this Regulation is to ensure appropriate environmental quality by private sewage systems so that contamination does not lead to injury or health damages. It should also ensure equal treatment for all properties with private sewage systems. These regulations apply to all properties with private sanitary facilities in Aremark Municipality, as well as to the disposal and transport of sludge from purification installations for waste water. Discharge (emtying) frequency and notification thereof shall be announced in local papers and online; specific timeframes are listed in article 7.
