Symbol indicating separate collection: (a) the producer shall mark batteries, accumulators or battery packs placed on the market with the symbol indicating separate collection; (b) the symbol indicating separate collection is a roll-out container crossed through which complies with the figure presented in Annex to this Regulation. The separate collection symbol shall cover 3 % of the area of the largest side of the battery, accumulator or battery pack or 1.5 % of the surface area of the cylindrical battery, accumulator or battery pack.
