Abstract

The present regulation supplements the Animal Health Regulation with provisions on preparedness for and control of infectious animal diseases, including diseases in terrestrial animals and aquatic animals. The Regulation contains 13 sections divided into the following chapters: I. Scope of application and implementation; II. Supplementary national provisions - vaccination of terrestrial animals; III. Supplementary national provisions - vaccination of aquatic animals; IV. Supplementary national provisions - mandatory vaccination and duty to provide information; and V. Final provisions. The following annexes are included: Annex I. Vaccinations exempted from the prohibition contained in § 4 first paragraph letter a; and Annex II. Vaccinations exempted from the authorization requirement for use contained in section 4 second paragraph.
