Abstract

The present Regulation, adopted by the Ministry of Health and Care Services, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries, establishes model health certificates for animal health in connection with the movement of aquatic animals and certain animals products thereof between EEA states and the import of aquatic animals from non-EEA states for aquaculture facilities, their release into the wild or for other non-consumption purposes. It implements Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/2236 on model animal health certificates for aquatic animals and of certain animal products thereof. In case of conflict between the provisions of Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/2236 and this Regulation, the former shall always take precedence. The Norwegian Food Safety Authority shall supervise and take the necessary administrative decisions to achieve compliance with provisions given in or pursuant to this Regulation.
