Abstract This Regulation sets rules on the promotion and the development of reindeer husbandry. The Reindeer Development Fund shall, through the implementation of economic parameters and proposition of agreements and annual budgets, contribute to the development of reindeer husbandry in accordance to the national political goals. The Fund consist of a Board of 4 members who shall be nominated every two years and who are nominated by the Ministry of Agriculture. Grants may be granted for the establishment of shepherd huts (max. NOK 3 000 per square meter), shared cabins (NOK 150 000) and grazing areas. The Regulation is in adherence to decisions of reindeer settlement for 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
