Abstract

This Regulation provides that an area located in the village of Võhma in the Saaremaa rural municipality of Saare County, which becomes the Võhma Landscape Protection Area, is protected as a landscape protection area. The purpose of protection of a protected area is to protect and introduce the rock sowing and heritage landscape of Võhma; meadow communities and their characteristic biodiversity; and the protected plant species Godis mascula and its habitats. The area of a protected area belongs to the Võhma restriction zone according to the specifics of the protection regime and the degree of restriction of economic activities. In a protected area, the restrictions provided for in the Nature Conservation Act shall be taken into account with the specifications prescribed in this Regulation. The Regulation consists of three chapters: General provisions (1); Protected area protection regime (2); and Final provisions (3).
