Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of paragraphs 128 subsection 7, 129 subsection 5 and 130 subsections 2 and 4 of the Water Act, establishes requirements for wastewater treatment; requirements for the discharge of wastewater, precipitation, mining, quarrying and cooling water into the destination; conformity assessment measures specified in this regulation; and limit values for the pollutant content of used water discharged into the destination and other pollution indicators. This Regulation does not apply to the discharge of effluent from a ship into the sea and to the discharge of aquaculture water into the destination. The Regulation consists of 18 articles: Scope of application and application of this Regulation (1); Definitions (2); Wastewater treatment methods and limit value for pollution indicator (3); Load of pollution source (4); Limit values for pollution indicators of effluent, precipitation, mining, quarrying and cooling water discharged into water bodies or soil and levels of waste water treatment (5); Additional requirements for used water discharged into karst lakes (6); Additional requirements for discharge of rainwater into estuaries (7); Additional requirements for discharge of effluent into destination (8); Additional requirements for discharge of mining, quarrying and cooling water into estuaries (9); Monitoring of destination (10); Requirements for discharge of effluent, precipitation, mining, quarrying and cooling water into water body or soil containing dangerous substance (11); Mixing area of dangerous substance and requirements for determination thereof (12); Action plan (13); Requirements for sampling and analysis of sewage, effluents, precipitation, mining, quarrying and cooling water (14); Sampling frequency for determination of pollution indicators of water discharged from wastewater treatment plants or other pollution sources with a load of 2000 pe and more, except for content of hazardous substances and for determination of treatment levels (15); Frequency of sampling for determination of content of hazardous substances, determination of pollution indicators of precipitation, mining, quarrying and cooling water and wastewater treatment plant with a load of less than 2000 pe and water discharged from other pollution sources and determination of treatment levels (16); Assessment of conformity of waste water for state reporting purposes (17); and Implementation of regulation (18).
