Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of paragraph 85 (2) of the Water Act, and in compliance with the Directive 2020/2184/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the quality of domestic water, establishes quality and control requirements for drinking water and methods for the analysis of drinking water samples with the aim of protecting human health from the harmful effects of drinking water contamination. The document consists of five chapters: General provisions (1); Drinking water treatment and quality requirements (2); Requirements for quality control of drinking water (3); Methods of analysis (4); and Implementing provisions (5).
