It applies to payments from the Unemployment Insurance Fund made by companies that process marine catch and that have paid their employees a fixed wage for daytime work during a temporary shutdown due to a shortage of raw materials or other similar reasons. It lays down rules on notification of planned shutdown, confirmation of notification, insurance contracts, application for payments for vocational training courses, disbursement from the Unemployment Insurance Fund, and appeal of the decision of the Directorate of Labour on payments from the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
