Abstract

This Regulation, based on the provisions of paragraph 243 (5) of the Water Act, establishes the conditions and procedure for the assessment of technical knowledge, training and experience of a sampler performing water and drinking water research and the issue of an attestation certificate and the rules of procedure of the attestation committee. Samplers shall be attested in the field of sampling. The areas of sampling are sampling of drinking water; sampling of surface water; sampling of groundwater; sampling of seawater; sampling of waste water and waste water; and sampling of sewage sludge. The Regulation consists of ten sections: General provisions (1); Accreditation committee (2); Rules of procedure of the committee (3); Application for assessment (4); Requirements for the assessee (5); Attestation (6); Issuance of attestation certificate (7); Contestation of results of assessment and re-assessment (8); Sampler training and study program (9); and Implementing provision (10).
