This Regulation enters into force one month after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation is composed of 21 articles. It shall be prohibited to trade or to prepare veterinary medicines unless in possession of a licence issued by the Veterinary and Animal Health Department (art. 2). Conditions and requirements for wholesalers and retailers of veterinary medicines are defined in article 3. Conditions and requirements necessary for obtaining a licence are provided for in article 4. Requirements and conditions for veterinary store are specified in articles 6-8. The veterinary store may import drugs listed in the attached table and can sell them only to pharmacies or to veterinary surgeon (art. 9). Article 13 provides for the establishment of a Technical Committee for the Control of Veterinary Medicines (art. 13). Requirements and conditions necessary for the registration of new medicines are given in article 18. Licence’s fees are addressed in article 21.
