Abstract

This Regulation establishes the conditions and procedure for granting support for the introduction of green hydrogen in public transport for the implementation of the measure “Piloting the Hydrogen Value Chain” in accordance with Annex 5 of the State Budget Strategy 2021–2024. The purpose of granting support is to encourage the transition to public transport consuming less hydrogen, which causes less environmental disturbance. In order to achieve this objective, a complete solution for the production and deployment of green hydrogen in the public transport sector shall be supported. As a result of the granting of support, green hydrogen shall be used as fuel in the public transport sector. This Regulation consists of six chapters: General provisions (1); Basis for granting support (2); Requirements for the applicant, partner and application (3); Processing the application (4); Payment and use of support (5); and Refusal and recovery of aid (6).
