Abstract

This Regulation establishes a 46% share of the proceeds from the auctioning of emission allowances for the implementation of the measure “Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Public Buildings” for the implementation of the measure “State Budget Strategy 2017–2020” for the purpose of energy efficiency and conditions and procedures. The regulation regulates the use of the unused part of the proceeds from the auction of emission allowances specified in Regulation No. 31 of the Minister of Public Administration of 5 June 2017 “Conditions and Procedure for Using Support for the Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Local Government Welfare Institutions”. The measure aims to improve energy efficiency through investment in public buildings, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, reduce energy supply and maintenance costs, promote the use of renewable energy and reduce energy-intensive public buildings by replacing them with near-zero energy buildings. Support will be provided to achieve the objective of the measure. The Regulation consists of nine chapters: General provisions (1); Basis for granting support (2); Requirements for the applicant, application and energy audit of the building (3); Processing the application (4); Obligations of the beneficiary and reference to the grant (5); Recovery of the aid (6); Submission of data (7); Challenge procedure (8); and Implementing provisions (9).
