This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Abstract

This Regulation defines the specific requirements for slaughterhouses (facilities or establishments for the production of human consumption meat from a limited number of animals). These rules shall be applied to large and small ruminants and to pigs with the exception of Eastern Balkan pig breeds.
