This Regulation establishes the conditions and procedure for the grant and use of support to local governments for the organization of separate collection of bio-waste. The purpose of the measure is to increase the use of secondary raw materials by improving the capacity to collect waste separately and thereby reduce the disposal of waste. In order to achieve the objective of the measure, support shall be provided to local governments or non-profit associations or foundations specified in subsection 67 (2) of the Waste Act for the establishment and expansion of infrastructure for separate collection of bio-waste. The Regulation consists of five chapters: General settings (1); Basis for granting support (2); Requirements for the applicant and the application and announcement of the application round (3); Processing the application (4); and Use of support (5).
