Abstract

This Regulation provides for the sub-categories of paints and other coatings containing volatile organic compounds of buildings, their finishing elements and related functional, decorative and protective elements (VOC)and for the limit values of the content of LOU, and vehicles or parts thereof used outside production installations for repair, protection or decoration purposes, and limit values for the content of LOUs and the content of VOCs and to the limit values of the content of VOCs methods used to determine compliance. The Regulation consists of seven sections: Scope of regulation (1); Terms (2); Subtypes of paints and other coatings (3); Subcategories of vehicle refinishing materials (4); Limit values for content of volatile organic compounds in paints for buildings, their finishing components and related functional, decorative and protective elements and in other coatings and vehicle finishing materials (5); Methods for determination of compliance with limit values for content of volatile organic compounds in paints and other coatings and vehicle refinishing materials (6); and Entry into force of regulation (7).
